Launch a token
Everything except the first buy is permanent. The name, the picture and the links are written once and have no setter, and the backing asset is what the whole curve is priced in.
Identity
Optional. Resized and compressed to what it is actually shown at — without one, the token is a mark generated from its address.
Links
Shown on the token page exactly as entered. Nothing here is checked, by this interface or by the contract.
Backed by
The reserve is held in this asset, so the token's value moves with it. It cannot be changed later.
First buy
A launch cannot buy its own token in the same transaction. The contract refuses every buy in the block a token is deployed in, because deploying and buying together is the one form of sniping nobody else can compete with.
One block later it is open to everyone, you included. Set an amount and the buy is waiting on the token’s page the moment the launch confirms — the same trade anyone else could make, a second earlier.
The whole supply goes into a Project X pool in the second transaction, and the position is locked there permanently. Nothing is held back — not for you, not for the platform — so the only way to hold any of it is to buy it like anybody else. The 1% is the pool's fee tier, and your share of it is paid out of the position rather than charged on top. The pool is open the moment liquidity lands, including to whoever is watching for it: there is no launch block to close, because the market is not ours to close.
One of the three wallet prompts is a signature rather than a transaction, and it costs nothing. Opening a pool does not fit HyperEVM's small blocks, and switching to the large ones is a message your wallet will not sign itself — so it approves a throwaway key that can, which this tab holds and forgets when you close it. That key can place trades on HyperCore in your name and cannot withdraw anything; you can revoke it on Hyperliquid whenever you like. It does the switch, and switches back at the end so your next transaction does not wait a minute.
